Fans of Downtown Crossing’s Central Bistro will want to make a beeline for Summer Street this week, the well-loved Parisian spot will be closing after lunch service on Friday, May 18th. The second floor space, which first opened as Petit Robert Central back in the day, will eventually become upscale office space according to a post on their Twitter feed. You can likely catch your favorite staff member around town – most are relocating to sister restaurants Abby Lane in the Theater District, the Back Bay’s Citrus & Salt, Lower Mills Tavern in Dorchester and the South End’s Lion’s Tail so keep an eye out.
