Season To Taste in Cambridge is looking for a part-time Bartender to join their team for 2-3 shifts a week.
The Bartender entertains guests while producing high quality craft cocktails in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The bartender functions to create an inviting atmosphere for our guests by anticipating and attending to their needs in a positive and timely manner. They have an extensive knowledge of traditional cocktails, seasonal ingredients, and creative drinks which they use to make recommendations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and serve craft cocktails in a fast-paced environment
- Organize bar in a functional manner to support efficient drink production
- Provide excellent customer service while managing drink orders
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items in order to make recommendations to guests
- Connect with guests and learn names of regulars
- Verify identification and age requirements
- Record all orders accurately and enter into POS
- Accept guest payment and process credit card transactions
- Prepare nightly close-out reports and cleaning tasks
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar
- Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the restaurant or bar manager
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
- Prepare any necessary bar items needed such as garnishes, juices, syrups, and infusions
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of bartending experience
- Have superior knowledge liquor brands and cocktail recipes
- Possess excellent math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register
- Passion for hospitality
- Positive, energetic, and upbeat attitude
- Able to collaborate and work well with others
