o ya is hiring a line cook. o ya is an award-winning, contemporary Japanese restaurant in the Leather District with a small but dynamic team dedicated to curating a special experience for each of our guests. The line cook position at o ya is one of just two hot line roles, which services the restaurant with all dishes outside of sushi and sashimi.
We hire motivated and humble professional cooks who are eager to learn and contribute ideas and have a positive, solution-oriented attitude. In addition to classic knife skills and fine dining cuisine knowledge, chefs must be ego-free & serious about career, food and learning new things. Refined food preparation and 2 years of line experience is strongly preferred, but not required. Above all, positivity and absolute professionalism are valued.
o ya is open for dinner service Tuesday-Saturday nights.
