A neighborhood restaurant in Cambridge is looking to hire an experienced bar manager. You will be working alongside owner-operators in a fun, hospitality-driven environment. Desire to make guests happy is an absolute MUST.
Responsibilities for Bar Manager
- Attend meetings with owners
- Help source and train staff
- Create schedule
- Communicate with vendors
- Ordering & creating
- Manage bar staff to create the best guest experience
- Creating and maintaining regulars
- Work shifts required to meet the needs of the bar. This includes nights, weekends and holidays
Qualifications for Bar Manager
- Previous management experience is a must
- A history of running a profitable business
- Knowledge of Toast POS
- A familiarity with Quickbooks or other accounting based software
- Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Going up and down stairs frequently is a MUST!
