OVERVIEW
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and creativity, along with the ability to assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations.
DUTIES
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and food preparation
- Oversee food production and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Manage inventory control and ordering supplies
- Coordinate with the culinary team for catering events and fine dining services
- Support restaurant management in maintaining a smooth kitchen operation
- Collaborate with the dietary department to meet specific dietary requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and control
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with menu planning and execution
- Previous experience in fine dining establishments is a plus
