ALBA Restaurant Group has immediate openings for experienced servers at ALBA in Quincy. We offer a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, making us a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike. We are seeking individuals who are hospitality-driven, detail-oriented and understand the importance of guest service. Must work well in a team environment and have a friendly and professional demeanor. All potential candidates are required to have at least two years’ fine dining experience and must have the ability to multitask, display good knowledge of food and wine and possess a confident outgoing personality.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional and personalized service to guests.
- Anticipate guest needs and make recommendations when appropriate.
- Efficiently take and accurately process food and beverage orders.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery.
- Master our menu, including ingredients, specials, and beverage offerings.
- Share your knowledge with guests, answering questions and making suggestions.
- Enhance the dining experience by suggesting additional items or promotions.
- Promote seasonal or featured dishes and beverages.
- Work seamlessly with kitchen and support staff for smooth service.
- Communicate effectively to ensure a cohesive and positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Two years’ experience as a server in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong customer service and people skills.
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage, with a passion for the industry.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
