Block out your Outlook calendar every Friday afternoon because Georgie’s Wine Bar has a standing date to open a bottle of something special to share for their Fine & Rare Fridays, and you don’t want to get stuck in an end-of-the-week Zoom meeting when you could be wine tasting. Every week the Downtown Crossing wine shop and tasting bar plucks something fabulous, fine, or rare from their eclectic cellar and passes around 3-oz. pours from 4:00 to 7:00pm, and it’s a great way to try some bottles that you might not normally have in the budget. No tickets are necessary, just show up as early as you can because often times there’s only one bottle to pour — when it’s gone it’s gone.
