Sip Sparkling Wines in Cambridge

Bubbly wine always tastes a little extra effervescent when there’s a holiday in the air, so get into a celebratory spirit for the Fourth a little early on Tuesday, July 2nd at Forage with a Sparkling Wine Dinner. Chef Eric Cooper and wine guru Stan Hilbert have put their tasteful heads together for four courses of fireworks-worthy food and wine pairings with bottles from Germany, California and France, and you can check out the menu below for matchups like Beach Rose Swimming Biscuits with Confit Spring Onions and Garlic Scape Butter with 2018 Grenache Gris “Here Today,” Forlorn Hope, CA; and Pastrami with Napa Cabbage Slaw, Apricot Mustard and Sage Flowers paired with 2022 Lambrusco, Denny Bini, Emilia Romagna.

Reservations for dinner are available here between 5:00 and 8:45pm for the Cambridge dining room (the patio is closed for renovations until August), or you can give them a call to save a spot at 617.576.5444. Also keep in mind that you can take any of the bottles home after dinner at retail prices, so if you’ve got a Fourth of July party this weekend this is the perfect chance to stock up on some sparklers.
