You probably already know that New Zealand produces some of the most unique and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc-based wines in the world, but the South Pacific island nation has a few more varietals up its sleeve, which you’ll get to try on Friday, September 13th at Catalyst’s Wines of New Zealand Dinner.

Chef William Kovel and Co. will be hosting winemakers Paddy Borthwick of Borthwick Estates and Rod McDonald of Te Awanga Estates, and not only will there be four courses of fabulous eats, you’ll also get to sip some stellar Syrah, Pinot Noir, and of course a couple of Sauvy Bs. Take a spin through the menu below, which includes dishes like Jonah Crab Salad with cucumber, avocado, radish, celery broth and mustard oil; and Rohan Duck Breast with Ward’s Berry Farm corn, Swiss chard and cherry gastrique. Plus, it wouldn’t be a New Zealand wine dinner without a rack of lamb.

Scoop up dinner reservations via OpenTable (scroll down a smidge to the “Experiences” box) for $140 per person, or give them a call at 617.576.3000 to save a table. The night kicks off at 6:00pm with a standing reception with passed bites of Smoked Salmon with caviar, Compressed Melon with Serrano ham, and Parmesan Crisps with whipped goat cheese, so make sure you get yourself over to Technology Square in Cambridge in time to park and grab a spot, because you won’t want to miss a bite.
