Sebastiani Wine Dinner at Level Bistro

On Saturday, June 2nd, chef David Ogren welcomes award-winning Californian wine maker Mark Lyon of Sebastiani Vineyard & Winery to Level Bistro in Provincetown. In honor of Lyon’s visit, Ogren will be serving a six-course prix fixe to be paired with an assortment of wines from the Sebastiani portfolio. Ogren keeps it local with Wellfleet oysters with red onion-chive mignonette; and Chatham scallop with heirloom tomato, herb salad, smoked bacon vinaigrette and crisp gaufrette potato. Next up: a sweet potato and crab hash with roasted shallot vinaigrette and poached quail egg. A palate cleansing sorbet is followed by Northeastern Family Farms grass fed rib-eye with creamy garlic potatoes, baby asparagus and cabernet-thyme reduction. Last but not least, dessert is a chocolate fudge brownie with raspberry sauce and vanilla ice cream. The dinner costs $125 per person (not including tax or gratuity).
