Dear Annie/The Koji Club

Sharpen your pencils and pack your backpacks for Wine School at Dear Annie. The pint-sized natural wine bar in Cambridge knows the only way to become a sake expert is to taste, taste, taste, so they are hosting a one-hour class so you can brush up on your skills. On Saturday, September 14th, Alyssa DiPasquale, owner of The Koji Club in Brighton, sake brewer Miho Fujita from Yuho, sake brewer Tetsuro Igarashi from Tensei Brewery, and Monica Samuels, their importer, sake extraordinaire, and translator. You’ll get to taste four unique sakes side by side: Tensei “Infinite Summer,” Tensei “Song of the Sea,” Yuho “Eternal Embers” and Yuho “Rhythm of the Centuries,” plus learn all about the art of brewing sake from some real tastemakers. There’ll be plenty of time for Q+A so bring all your burning koji-related Qs and scoop up tickets here ASAP (they’ll definitely sell out as DA’s space is very limited). Tix cost $45, and the class bell rings promptly at 3:00pm — don’t miss the bus!
