‘Tis the season for rosy hued sips, and the wine savvy folks at Foundry on Elm are turning their attention to rosés for the spring and early summer sessions in their weekly Wine Wednesday series. Every hump day you can make your way over to Davis Square to take your tastebuds on a tour around the world by way of a highlighted bottle – usually along a particular theme like say, wines from a certain producer, region, style or varietal (think: Californian wines or Greek wines, bubbles or big fall reds, just to name a few recent features).
Keep an eye on their Instagram for the wine of the week, which they’ll be offering by the flight (three 3-ounce pours for $16) and the half bottle ($26). It’s the perfect portion for tasting without committing to the whole bottle, plus it’s an ideal pairing for a plate of chef Shayne Nunes’ brassiere-meets-tavern fare.
