You know the summer’s coming to an end when it’s time to start drinking red wine again, and there’s no better way to kick off the fall than a Barolo Wine Dinner at Thistle & Leek — especially one with a visit from winemaker Martina Molino. Head west to Newton Centre on Thursday, September 12th at 6:30 for a 5-course dinner with wines from Molino’s family winery, Mauro Molino. Chef Kate Smith has a lovely Piedmont-themed menu lined up, which you can peruse down below for a preview of bites like Green Garlic Sausage with Delicata Squash and Cherry Mustard; and Ribeye Steak with Charred Greens and Salsa Verde.
