Maybe you’re not taking the whole month of August off but you can still enjoy the end of summer as the French do with the Bouillon Chartier Menu at Batifol. The Cambridge brasserie channels the iconic “bouillon” restaurant in the 9th arrondissement in Paris – opened originally in 1896 by brothers Frédéric and Camille Chartier to serve the city’s workers delicious meals at reasonable prices – with a three-course prix fixe full of the classics.

Book a table any day of the week between 4:00 and 10:00pm from now until Friday, August 30th to sit down to dishes like escargots, moules marinières frites, crème brûlée and mousse au chocolat for $36 per person. There’s an optional cheese course and you can go all out with charcuterie or steak frites for a few extra dollars. Reservations, available online here or by calling 617.945.0345, are limited and the end of the month will be here before you know it so allons-y!
