Beat the heat this week with a waterfront solstice party courtesy of your friends at Pier 6 and ReelHouse. The harbor-facing sister restaurants, in Charlestown and East Boston, respectively, are joining forces for a cross-harbor festa to celebrate the first day of summer. Make your way to either spot around 7:00pm on Thursday, June 20th for light, Italian-leaning nibbles (pizza displays, antipasti boards and the like) accompanied by Aperol spritzes and Miraval rosé cocktails. There’ll be giveaways, swag, a sorbet station, and fabulous views, of course. Plus, there’ll be a free boat shuttle between the two restaurants so you can cool off as you zip from one side of the harbor to the other. Tickets are available online here for $25 each, which includes snackies, a drink ticket for a featured cocktail and all the aforementioned fun (but not processing fees).
