A German-Jewish Oktoberfest

Lehrhaus

Celebrate German-Jewish life during Oktoberfest at Lehrhaus. For the second year, the Jewish tavern and house of learning is serving up German eats like spaetzle and strudel along with their festbier, Zoigl Star from Lamplighter. If you’re interested in doing a deeper dive into the world of Jewish beer, you can learn more about Zoigl Star on Tuesday, September 24th at Lehrhaus’s Secret Jewish History of German Beer class. Lamplighter’s, Daniel Hennagin will take you through the stories of the Jewish hopsters, maltsters and brewers while you sip on the limited edition brew — class starts at 5:30pm and you can purchase tickets here for $36. If you can’t make it, don’t worry, you can pop by Lehrhaus anytime now through October 1st to get in on the special offerings.
