If you’re planning to hit the town to see the fireworks on Thursday, July 4th, don’t head into the night on an empty stomach — stop by Althea in Cambridge’s Central Square for a slew of BBQ specials from 2:00 to 8:00pm. Chef Greg Reeves will have the smoker firing on all cylinders for the afternoon so that you can fill up on racks of ribs, smoked chicken, pulled pork sammys, franks and beans, and more (check out the menu below). They’ll also have a limited selection of their regular menu so you can do a little mixing and matching if you’d like, plus if the weather cooperates you can hang out by the adorable outdoor bar made out of a shipping container for a couple of cocktails.
