Mid-Autumn Festival at Pagu

Reap the bounty of the season at Pagu‘s Mid-Autumn Festival — or Moon Festival — on Sunday, September 29th. The celebration is a time to honor the harvest and the full moon, a symbol of unity and prosperity, and is beloved and cherished in many East Asian cultures including China, Vietnam, and Korea. It always happens on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar, and it’s a great excuse to get together with friends and family and eat tons of mooncakes.

From 12:00 to 3:00pm, chef Tracy Chang and her Cambridge crew will be serving up loads of lotus leaf sticky rice, braised pork belly baos, knife-cut noodles, steamed fish, wontons, and of course plenty of mooncakes, to get you in a fest-y state of mind, plus the Wah Lum Kung-Fu School will perform a lion dance at 1:30pm. Grab tickets here for $20 each, which covers all your eats (drinks are a la carte). Keep a lookout on their IG for any updates, and give them a call at 617.945.9290 if you have any Qs.
