Hispanic Heritage Dinner in Lexington

Lapostolle Wines

Don’t just say you’re going to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, really immerse yourself in authentic tastes and flavors at the next Farm to Vine Dinner on Thursday, September 26th at Town Meeting Bistro inside The Inn at Hastings Park. Let chef Alissa Tsukakoshi and her team take you a tasting trip through the Colchagua Valley in the heart of Chile’s Central Valley by way of Lapostolle Winery’s elegant portfolio, including pours of 2023 Sauvignon Blanc, 2022 Carmènére, 2022 Cabernet Franc, and 2022 Clos Apalta Red. The Bournet Lapostolle family has been producing high-end wines and spirits since 1827, and they’ve really defined the terroir of the region with their sophisticated, sustainably-produced wines.

Check out the tasting menu below, which is styled simply to show off some extra fresh ingredients sourced from just down the road at Lexington Community Farm like Rapa Nui Ceviche (hamachi, peppers, coconut milk), and Tenderloin (pebre, roasted farm vegetables). Dinner costs $180 per person (get tickets here), and you can feel a little extra good about spending a few bucks because a portion of the monies will go toward the Lexington Community Farm Coalition, a grassroots organization founded by neighbors to sustain the 7.9-acre non-profit local area Busa Farm. Head to Lexington for a 6:00pm start, and if the weather’s nice you could even head over a little early and enjoy a glass of wine and a relaxing stroll through the culinary gardens for a little dinner inspiration. Give the Bistro a ring at 781.301.6655 if you have Qs, and be sure to bookmark their featured experiences and events page to stay in the know on all the Inn’s happenings this fall.
