Located at the top of Beacon Hill, just a stone's throw from the State House, Mooo.... is a modern steakhouse housed within the luxurious XV Beacon Hotel. Chef-owner Jamie Mammano (whose other restaurants include Mistral, Teatro, Sorellina and L'Andana) channels his culinary creativity into the menu with modern interpretations of classic dishes for a one-of-a-kind steakhouse experience.
The menu may take its cues from the classic steakhouse but the dining room at Mooo.... shakes the boys-club mold when it comes to décor. Muted shades of sand and gray are illuminated by oversized chandeliers that cast a warm glow and create a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere
The restaurant is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. The private dining room, one of the city's most stylish, is tucked away downstairs and can accommodate parties ranging in size from five to seventy-five.

Chef David Hutton first developed his fascination with food while working as the Sous Chef at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts. He spent three years in the kitchen there refining his skills until he was given the opportunity to join Boston's renowned catering company, The Catered Affair, as Executive Chef.
In 1997, chef-owner Jamie Mammano invited Hutton to join the opening team at Mistral, the French/Mediterranean bistro in Boston's South End, as the restaurant's Executive Sous Chef. After five years at Mistral, Hutton packed up his knives and headed to a new position as the Executive Chef at the Tournament Players Club of Boston in Norton, Massachusetts, a private high-end golf club owned by the PGA Tour.
In 2006, The Columbus Restaurant Group, which had grown to include five restaurants since the opening of Mistral, welcomed Hutton back into the fold, as Executive Chef/Partner at Mooo....at the XV Beacon Hotel.
