On Sunday, May 17th, the Duxbury Oyster Festival takes over The Winsor House Inn for a mollusk-fueled afternoon of food and fundraising. From 3:00-7:00pm, guests can load their plates with freshly-shucked local oysters and creative cuisine from Winsor chef Franco Carubia (there’ll be plenty of non-oyster dishes for those without sea legs.) A silent auction and live music from Duxbury Student Union musicians and party band Despite Dwight round out the festivities. Tickets, available for $100 each online here, include 2 drink tickets (for wine, beer or cocktails) and a commemorative t-shirt. Proceeds from the event go towards the Duxbury Student Union’s volunteer and leadership programs for local youth.
