Feeling Absinthe-minded?

Absinthe is a liquor surrounded by lore and allure and Study gets to the bottom of the bottle with a special absinthe dinner on Thursday, April 16th. A four-course meal will be accompanied by cocktails featuring Butterfly Absinthe—a modern interpretation of a 20th century recipe. Butterfly was originally produced in Boston by P.Dempsey & Co. and, like other American absinthes, has notes of mint, citrus and herbs that distinguish it from its European brethren. Study will delve into the controversy around the Green Fairy’s rise and fall (and rise again) and will explore the proper way to make and drink absinthe. Seatings are available at 6:30pm, 7:30pm and 8:30pm and the cost of the evening is $90 per person. Call 617.374.0700 or email Jake at Study to reserve your seat.
