Food industry professionals are gearing up for a culinary expo with the Massachusetts Restaurant Association’s 2015 New England Food Show, running Sunday, March 15th to Tuesday, March 17th. The three-day event, taking place at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, includes presentations, seminars and demonstrations, as well as friendly industry competitions in cooking and cocktails. In the Greater Boston Culinary Cook-Off, Rialto’s David Ladner, Bondir’s Jason Bond and Boston Nightlife VenturesBill Brodksy will be put to the test with a mystery ingredient, while bartenders from Eastern Standard, Trina’s Starlite Lounge, Audubon and Brick & Mortar will work with secret ingredients to show off their shaker skills at the Mixology Competition. New England chefs, including Boston’s Billy Grant and Andy Husbands, will create signature dishes at the SnapChef Center Stage and the Monday night MRA Annual Awards Dinner will honor chef Chris Coombs and chef Nick Calias, among others. Tickets will be available at the door for $60 each but can be purchased online before March 14th at a discount— $20 each for Association Members or $30 each for Non-Association Members.
