Oktoberfest on the Harbor

In honor of Oktoberfest, the pavilion at the Boston Harbor Hotel will become a biergarten for one day and one day only on Tuesday, September 30th. The waterfront hotel will be welcoming their friends from Harpoon, Slumbrew and Jack’s Abby, among others and inviting resident chef Daniel Bruce of Meritage and Rowes Wharf Sea Grille to supply lots of beer-centric bites (think: wild mushroom fritters with stout aioli, orange and IPA-marinated shrimp brochettes and beer-braised pork rilletes). There’ll also be a whole charcuterie and antipasti display full of wursts (knack, brat and bier wursts) and pastry chef Shawn Dresser will be whipping up classic Bavarian apple strudels. Tickets, which are available online here, cost $44.77 each including processing fees.
