Chefs Unite for Boston’s Own

Some of Boston’s top chefs are pooling their culinary talent for one epic meal to raise funds for the families of Lt. Edward Walsh and Firefighter Michael Kennedy. Scheduled for Monday, April 14th at Mike’s City Diner (1714 Washington Street), United for Boston’s Own will feature a nine-course menu with courses prepared by talented and generous-minded chefs like Ken Oringer, Ming Tsai, Jay Hajj, Michael Schlow, Mike Smith, Ting Yen, Jamie Bissonnette, Michael Scelfo and Monica Glass. There are 60 seats are available and even at $500 each, they’re expected to go quickly. See if you can snag one and show your support. One hundred percent of the proceeds are going to the Walsh-Kennedy Memorial Fund.
