The do-gooders at Tres Gatos are launching a new monthly fundraiser in support of local non-profits on Tuesday, April 1st. On the first Tuesday of every month the Jamaica Plain eatery and shop will be donating ten percent of the day’s sales to a charity whose efforts they endorse. For the first one they’ll be funneling funds towards JP’s own Spontaneous Celebrations, producers of the Wake Up the Earth Festival, the Jamaica Pond Lantern Parade and Tropical Fiesta. They’ve also got plans to work with Centre/South Main Streets, Groupmuse, and Revision Urban Farm.
