Eat Like A Pilgrim with Will Gilson

Chef Will Gilson of Puritan & Company wants to help you cook like a pilgrim. On Monday, November 17th, Gilson joins the Boston Center for Adult Education to teach a course on Colonial Era cooking focusing on what Thanksgiving dinner looked like in the 1600s (spoiler alert: there probably wasn’t any turkey and definitely no football). On hand will be Peter Drummey of the Massachusetts Historical Society to share his knowledge about the origins of Thanksgiving and offer insights. Attendees will prepare a number of dishes along with Gilson and then get to enjoy a real Thanksgiving meal just like the Pilgrims did (but with all the comforts of modern civilization).
