Bordeauxs in the Back Bay

L’Espalier welcomes special guest M. Eric Fourault, an importer representing the wines of Baron Edmond de Rothschild, for a special multi-course wine dinner on Wednesday, October 22nd. Mister Fourault will be opening up bottles from smaller, lesser known chateaus in the Baron’s world famous portfolio. It’s a lovely opportunity to explore a number of hidden gems within Bordeaux along with the incomparable food of Chef Matt Delisle. Look for dishes like terrine of pheasant and foie gras with warm consomme, red cabbage preserve, apple and black walnut brioche as well as cassoulet of Toulouse with carre d’agneau and garlic-herb sausage and white beans with roasted carrot and bayberry leaf jus.
