Winter’s coming...which makes it the perfect time to drop by The Fireplace, where chef-owner Jim Solomon has a line-up of Fireside Chats that'll keep you feeling cozy 'til the weather warms. The Saturday afternoon series welcomes an array of experts – farmers, vintners, brewers and the like – for an educational get together in front of the fire, exploring seasonal topics like small batch bourbon or New England micro-brews. Chats generally take place from 3:00-4:15 and cost between $25 and $30. Reservations aren’t required but it’s never a bad idea to let them know you’re coming.
