Diner En Blanc in Boston

Are you in the mood to dine al fresco with 1000 of your closest friends? Well, you’re in luck because Boston’s first ever epicurean flash feast, Diner en Blanc, is coming on Thursday, August 16th. Originally held in France over twenty years ago, this viral picnic is now attended by thousands of people in cities all over the world. Here’s how it all works: Go online to sign up for the waiting list after which you’ll be invited to register and purchase a ticket. The location will be announced last minute, giving you only enough time to don your most fabulous white outfit (seriously – they won’t let you in wearing any other color), pack up an epicurean feast (including table, chairs, silver, glasses and white napkins) and head over. Guests will be directed to meet in groups of 20-40 and escorted to the final picnic spot at 6:30pm. For complete information and to register, check out their website.
