Cookbook Author Turns Up at Tavolo

Chefs Chris Douglass and Nuno Alves continue their months-long cookbook series by welcoming Leigh Belanger to Tavolo on Thursday, July 19th. Secure yourself a seat in the dining room for a three-course meal plucked from the pages of The Boston Homegrown Cookbook, which profiles nearly 30 area restaurants that are working with local farmers to source and serve local, sustainable fare. Over dinner you’ll get to chat with Belanger about the book and how it all came together – including how Tavolo made it onto the cover. The evening, including dinner, discussion and a signed copy of the cookbook, costs $45 per person. Reservations are recommended so call 617.822.1918 for yours and plan on being in your seat by 6:00pm.
