Cooking from the Books at Tavolo

Yes, sometimes even a chef likes to cook from a book. Don’t believe us? Head to Tavolo on Thursday, June 7th for the first in Good Food is Everything their dinner series highlighting Boston-based cookbook authors. Chef-owner Chris Douglass and chef Nuno Alves will take as the inspiration for their three course menu, Maria Speck’s Ancient Grain for Modern Meals. The author herself will also be at the Dorchester restaurant to chat and sign copies of the book, all of which is included in the $45 per person price tag (though tax, beverages and gratuity aren’t).
