Even for the most practiced of epicureans, it can take a good long while to really feel like you have a handle on the culinary scene of any particular neighborhood, let alone an entire city. Luckily for ambitious food-lovers, the Taste of Somerville, being held on Tuesday, June 5th, will allow you to do just that. At 5:30pm the Somerville Chamber of Commerce will welcome guests into the Boston-Somerville Holiday Inn to sample tastes from a selection of area eateries like Redbones, Foundry on Elm, Amelia’s Kitchen and Saloon. Tickets cost $30 if purchased online in advance and $35 at the door. Proceeds from this year’s event go to support Respond, New England’s first domestic violence agency.
