Vinny's Tip Jar
This Memorial Day, the Hotel Commonwealth hosts Vinny's Tip Jar, a fundraiser and auction in support of Vinny Sapochetti, a server at Neptune Oyster who was injured in a car accident earlier this spring. While Sapochetti's recuperating, his friends in the industry have come together, donating their time and talent, to help him get back on his feet. Lend a hand (even if you don't have a lot of time or talent) just by buying a ticket to the benefit, which is scheduled for Monday, May 28th from 5:00-10:00pm. Tickets cost $105 (which includes food and two drink tickets) and all proceeds (minus transaction fees) will be donated to the cause. Check out the list of generous peeps who have already pledged their support (including the folks at Toro, Eastern Standard, Island Creek Oyster Bar, Uni, Oleana, Citizen, Russell House and Sam's) and purchase your tickets online.
