American Lamb Heads South of the Border

Lamb tacos? Yes. Yes indeed. On Tuesday, May 22nd, BostonChefs.com and the American Lamb Board are partnering with Chef Andy Husbands to put a lamby twist on Tremont 647‘s Taco Tuesday. From 5:30 to 10:00pm the South End institution’s kitchen will proudly serve four different lambtastic taco creations (plus fish and veggie options to round things out) to sate your other red meat craving. Lamb ‘Birria’ Taco
cabbage and onion slaw avocado crema

Lamb al Pastor 
pineapple salsa and sweet potatoes

Lamb Chorizo  
fried onions and cilantro aioli

Spice Crusted Grilled Lamb Sirloin 
papaya salsa and amarillo pepper sour cream 

Plus, chef Husbands will be providing his recipes in case ewe want to try your hand at at-home lamb taco creation. And to sweeten the deal, the first twenty-five attendees who’ve also rsvp’d to the event on Facebook will get a complementary lamb taco for their trouble (though, that’s not really any trouble at all). Tacos are $2 apiece and the night will feature a cash bar (what’s a taco without a margarita to wash it all down?). Make sure to let us know you’re coming – it’d be so baaaaad to miss it.
