Bistro du Midi Hosts Sommelier Nights

Forsaking the traditional wine dinner format, the folks at Bistro du Midi launch a different kind of wine education series with their Sommelier Nights. The regularly scheduled evenings feature some of the world's top winemakers, each of whom will be joining Sommelier and Beverage Director Todd Lipman on the floor to interact with guests in the dining room - recommending wines from their portfolio and suggesting pairings from Robert Sisca's menus. The next of these inclusive and instructive evenings is scheduled for Friday, April 27th when Aldo Rainoldi of Casa Vinicola Aldo Rainoldi in Valtellina, Lombardy, Italy will be making an appearance. If you're even a little curious about these Alpine wines just book a table in the dining room - you'll get to try some samples and engage with the winemaker as much or as little as you like.
