Monday Night Roasts

Meat lovers should find their way out to 80 Thoreau for some hearty Monday night fare. Chef Carolyn Johnson will be starting the week by roasting a whole joint of meat – shoulder, leg, belly, you name it – and carving it to order for $21 per person. The dish (recent versions have included lamb shoulder marinated with mustard and herbs served with confit potatoes, broccoli rabe and lamb jus) is available until the last slice is served, and Monday Night Roasts disappear with winter so book a table before they run out and before the vernal equinox (March 20th).
