Do something a little different over the holiday weekend – indulge your need for speed. From Thursday, June 30th through Monday, July 4th Fan Pier will welcome the first Boston visit of the Extreme Sailing Series to the 30th annual Boston Harborfest. The high speed event will feature up to eight races each day so spectators in the Race Village (open from 11:00am to 11:00pm) can catch all the action. The festive village will also feature oyster shucking and some tasty tidbits courtesy of chefs like Lydia Shire – not too shabby.
