Fancy yourself top of the tarts, the queen of crimping, an aficionado of filling? Then you definitely want in on the pastry-laden party being held at the Middle East Downstairs Sunday, July 31st when Brooklyn Brewery brings the Pie Experiment to Boston. Nick Suarez and Theo Peck, cofounders of the pie-extravaganza and cook-off veterans, will welcome The Bean’s best bakers to see who’s sweet creation warrants a crown. The winning baker, as decided by a panel of esteemed pie-loving judges and hungry attendees, will be flown to Brooklyn to compete in the national cook-off (there’ll also be some other fabulous prizes and cash – don’t forget the cash).
