Join UpStairs on the Square in welcoming Kevin Grand from the southernmost wine growing region of South Africa. The winemaker and owner of Ataraxia will venture way north for dinner in their Harvard Square dining room on Thursday, July 28th. Known for their cooler environment and perfect growing conditions, the region produces some fine Sauvignon Blancs and Chardonnays which lucky diners will get to taste along with a vineyard-specific red blend. Doing her part to keep the evening culinarily interesting, chef Susan Regis will pair the night’s wines with a four-course menu of summer fare (we hear there’s a grill involved). The reception starts at 6:30pm with dinner getting underway at 7:00pm.
