Celebrate Bastille Day as the French do – by eating and drinking till your heart’s content. At least that’s what we assume the French will be doing – if the party at the Beehive is any indication. On Thursday, July 14th, the South End eatery will be all atwitter with frenchified fun – Rebecca Newell‘s dinner menu will be sprinkled with la cuisine francais (think steak frites, sole meuniere and salad nicoise) and The Chicken Thieves will be playing their particular brand of French gypsy jazz from 5:30 to 9:00pm. Then, from 9:00pm to 2:00am, the kitchen will transform into a French street food cart featuring baguette sandwiches and merguez sausage as DJ Kamal spins some French beats (we assume this means said beats will don berets).
