Crafty Cocktail Classes at No. 9 Park

With Barbara Lynch‘s blessing, bartender Ted Kilpatrick steps into the role of Bar Manager at No. 9 Park. He’s got some mighty big shoes to fill – Matt Schrage who’s now at Menton, Ryan McGrale who’s moved on to NYC and, of course, John Gertsen who’s over at Drink – but with stints at Radius and Sel de la Terre under his belt, he’s more than up to the task. In fact, he’s so confident that he’s adding a Saturday afternoon cocktail class to his to do list. The classes don’t start until April but they’re limited to eleven people apiece which means they’ll fill up faster than you can say “craft cocktails”. Sign on for any of the themed little discussions/demonstrations and you’ll learn how to make five great drinks (and the history behind each of them). Classes, which are scheduled for Saturdays, April 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th, run from 2:30-4:30 and cost $75 per person. Call No. 9 at 617.742.9991 for more info and to save your spot.
