The Icelandic Cometh to Rustic Kitchen

Get a taste of something truly different when Rustic Kitchen gets infiltrated by Iceland. As part of the larger Taste of Iceland festival, chef Thorarinn Eggertsson of Reykjavik's Orange Restaurant will cross the Atlantic for a week long stint in Boston. He and chef Tom Holloway, on his own turf, will combine epicurean minds to whip up a special tasting menu featuring specifically Icelandic ingredients (think reindeer, gray duck and salted cod) and cutting edge technique (he's been known to throw in a bit of molecular gastronomy) to create something definitively unique. The menu will be available throughout the dinner service from Thursday, March 11th through Wednesday, March 17th. To make a reservation, call Rustic Kitchen at 617.423.5700 and for more information about the Taste of Iceland event, visit their website.
