Cook like a Pro with Some Help from Radius

Sign on for any of the upcoming cooking tutorials at Radius and soon you'll be cooking like a James Beard Award-winning chef. Well, that might be a bit of a stretch, but chef-owner Michael Schlow and wine director Daniel Mostinger do have a set of classes planned that'll help you handle the upcoming holiday season - from Thanksgiving right up through Valentine's Day - like a pro. Scroll down to peruse the topics to see which ones address your culinary weak spots then reserve your front row seat. Classes, which include a tasty post-learning lunch, start around 11:00am and cost $125 each (or $400 if you sign up for four). Call 617.426.1234 for more information.

Saturday, November 7th - Holiday Survival Guide
Planning the perfect holiday meal can be a serious source of stress. During this cooking class, Chef Schlow will share his no-fail tips for preparing a perfect holiday meal that'll impress the whole family and minimize the stress (and the mess) of cooking for the masses. You'll also leave this class with a whole new repertoire for leftovers, too.

Saturday, December 12th - Via Matta at Radius
Bringing the signature flavors of sister restaurant Via Matta to the Radius kitchen, Schlow will show participants how to prepare satisfying Italian classics like Bolognese, polpete and pollo alla matone at home. Via Matta means "the crazy way" so expect a cooking class filled with fun, perhaps a little grappa, and delicious food.

Saturday, January 9th
- One Pot Winter Dishes
During the colder months, New Englanders crave warm, hearty food that's easy and delicious. Simplicity and flavor reign supreme as Schlow takes classic one-pot dishes and kicks them up a notch. Spend more time cuddled under a blanket this winter and let the stove do the work.

Saturday, January 23rd
- Gourmet Junk Food
Just in time for the Super Bowl, Chef Schlow will teach you how to satisfy your guiltiest culinary pleasure with a class that's all about transforming junk food, the worst-of-the-worst, into the best of the best. The gourmand and child in you will rejoice over recipes that offer refined twists on junk food classics.

Saturday, February 13th
- Valentine's Day Tasting Menu
At Radius, they've made a name for themselves by going above and beyond. You can do the same this Valentine's Day - surprise your loved one with a perfectly executed tasting menu. You'll look like a pro with Schlow's recipes that taste like they're right off the Radius line but can be easily executed by the home chef.
