Lumiere's 4th of July Festivities

Forsaking his usual French culinary leanings in honor of America's birthday, chef-owner Michael Leviton has put together a menu's worth of Fourth of July-inspired food. Reserve a table at Lumière on Saturday, July 4th to pay tribute with an a la carte menu of all American fare (in inspiration as well as origin, wherever possible). Among the Independence Day offerings: Skippy's Cape Cod bluefish with mustard, summer vegetables and salsa verde; and Raincrow Ranch grass-fed rib eye with smoked brisket, sweet corn ragoût and bbq jus. For dessert, Leviton trots out some seasonal classics in his homage to the US of A - he's perfecting his recipes for strawberry shortcake; chocolate sundaes; and watermelon sorbet.
