Maslow Makes the List

A round of applause to Massachusetts’ own Tim Maslow, named one of Food & Wine‘s Best New Chefs of 2015. Maslow’s experience includes a degree from New York’s French Culinary Institute and stints at Momofuku and Mario Batali’s Del Posto, among others. Back in his native Watertown, he brought his culinary skills to the kitchen at Strip T’s, the family diner opened by his parents in 1986. A few short years and many accolades later, he was opening his own place, Brookline’s Ribelle, where he continues to wow Washington Square diners. This honor puts him in the ranks with past Food & Wine “best”s who’ve represented MA, like Matthew Gaudet, Jody Adams, Barry Maiden, Tony Maws, Michael Leviton, Barbara Lynch, Gordon Hamersley, Todd English, Marc Orfaly, Tim Cushman and Michael Schlow. You can catch Maslow in the July issue of Food & Wine and at the annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen. In the meantime, check out some of his top-notch cookery here.
