They’ve crowned one burger champion and are on the verge of naming another, now Boston Magazine is turning their attention to another iconic American foodstuff: barbecue. On Tuesday, August 12th (the night before the Battle of the Burger), Boston’s preeminent pit-masters will be firing up their smokers and serving up all manner of slow-cooked goodies at The Cue. Reserve your ticket and get to the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal in the Seaport by 7:00pm to try grilled meats from the likes of Bambara, Bronwyn, East Coast Grill, Fairsted Kitchen, Shojo, Sweet Cheeks and Tremont 647. And don’t miss the Dry Rub Shake Down – a cocktail competition featuring top mixologists from local hangs like Abby Lane, BOND and Bokx 109, among plenty of others. Tickets can be purchased here and range between $85 and $115 (for VIP which’ll get you in the door by 6:00).
