Chefly Adventures with FareTrade

If you’ve hit a wall in the culinary creativity department, look to the folks at FareTrade, a food-focused club for epicureans, to get a little inspiration. Each month, the subscription-based service provides a new basket of small-batch ingredients, recipes and online tutorials that will teach you how to prepare a selection of dishes from a participating chef. During May, West Bridge chef-owner and Food & Wine’s Best New Chef (2013) Matthew Gaudet curates a basket full of outstanding goodies to be used in recipes like sea bass with cauliflower steak and habanero-corn relish, porcini-crusted venison with butternut squash puree, and grilled quail with parsnip noodles and apple-rosemary compote. The service is $65 per month, inclusive of tax and shipping and this basket already available online. Head over to FareTrade’s website, sign up for a subscription and get right down to cooking these fabulous dishes.
