One day, you’ll tell your grandkids about this and they won’t believe you were there. It’s the first ever Breakfast Sandwich Showdown, Monday, June 9th at Daddy Jones in Somerville’s Magoun Square. The event – co-hosted by Stone & Skillet, Grady’s Cold Brew and Daddy Jones – will pit six of Boston’s fiercest chefs against each other in the bloodsport of breakfast sandwich composition. The chefs competing in the event are Nick Dixon of Lincoln Tavern, Mark O’Leary, Josh Lewin of Bread and Salt Hospitality, Mark McMann of Ashmont Grill, Daren Palacios, Steve “Nookie” Postal of Commonwealth and Tom Borgia of Russell House Tavern. Tickets for this event include breakfast sandwiches, two complimentary drinks and a bottomless cup of Grady’s Cold Brew. Seatings are at 6:30 and 8:30pm and tickets, which are $30 each, can be purchased here. Don’t miss it.
