Chefs Pop-Up for Charity

Leave it to Lovin’ Spoonfuls to pull together a lineup of chefs that includes a Food Network star, a Beard award winner and two Beard award nominees for their upcoming pop-up cocktail party and dinner. Reserve a ticket for the two-part fundraiser, scheduled for Tuesday, June 10th at the New England Center for Arts & Technology, and you’ll have the chance to mix and mingle with some of your favorite chefs at the evening’s cocktail party before sitting down to a four-course dinner prepared by some of your other favorite chefs. The fun starts at 6:00pm with wine, cocktails, seasonal beers from Peak Organic and hors d’oeuvres from Louis DiBiccari of Tavern Road, Josh Smith of Moody’s Delicatessen and Michael Scelfo of Alden & Harlow. Around 8:00pm, you’ll be invited to sit down to a four-course meal prepared by Jamie Bissonnette of Toro and Coppa, Matthew Jennings of the forthcoming Townsman, Joanne Chang of Flour and Myers + Chang, and the Food Network’s Andrew Zimmern. MS Walker will be expertly pairing wines with each course and there’s no doubt that it will be just as exquisite as the cuisine. If you want in for both the cocktail party and the dinner, your ticket will cost you $295 (plus some processing fees); if you just want to be there for the cocktail party, you can snag a ticket for $75 (plus a few processing fees). Whichever type of ticket you opt for (they’re both available online here), you’ll be supporting Lovin’ Spoonfuls food recovery efforts.
